The Gardens of Aranjuez

I've got LOTS of catching up to do, so I'm going to tackle it in chunks. Here is the first installment!

Just for fun, we went to Aranjuez. It's just south of Madrid, about an hour train ride away from Alcalá de Henares.

There is a royal palace there, and the gardens are BEAUTIFUL! The Tajo River runs right through them. No pics allowed inside the palace, but here are some of the pictures I took of the grounds:
